Finance & Taxation Compliance The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 23, 2026, issued an amendment to the older notification regarding the Reduction of Customs Duty Rates.

The Government has further amended Notification No. 45/2025-Customs, dated October 24, 2025, reducing the applicable customs duty rates for specified entries in Table I. The rates for S. Nos. 41 and 46 are reduced from 10% to 5%, S. Nos. 42 and 47 from 32.5% to 27.5%, S. No. 49 from 10% to Nil, and S. No. 50 from 32.5% to 22.5%. The amendment is effective from September 24, 2026.
